October 2019 - Present: Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming); Albany, NY; NYS Teachers Retirement System; Grade 18 C# and VisualBasic Web Development, and PL/SQL Development for the Information Technology Business Services department.

September 2019 - October 2021: Information Technology Specialist 2 (Programming); Albany, NY; NYS Office of Information Technology Services; Grade 18 Java Programmer for OITS Revenue and Employment Portfolio, working with Empire and Empire2 for the NYS Department of Tax and Finance. Wrote Java Web App pages that connected to IBM Mainframe COBOL applications. Debugged Java using IBM Rational Application Developer ( Eclipse ) and from within ISPF on the Mainframe.

October 2017 - September 2019: Systems Engineer; Rome, NY; PAR Government Systems Corporation; Systems administration for a mostly linux research network, staging of workstations, development of an automated Naemon monitoring service, inspected inconsistencies with DNS, and updated the Vibe System.

August 2017 - May 2019: System Administrator; Utica, NY; SUNY Polytechnic Institute, Computer Science Department; Rebuilt the entire department Network and Services. Proxmox (Hypervisor), Shell Server, CUPS/Samba Server, Firewalls, VM Templates, Network Documentation, Linux XRDP, VPN Service, and Active Directory Domain.

July 2015 - Present: Software Engineer; Moorepark, CA; Lolay, Inc; Namely, Firstlook on Android, Spotlight for Ford Modeling, and TrailerIt for WildCard, finally CarShark for Inscesent Labs. Worked with other developers for Front End, and Server side development. Learned Objective-C, Swift, and improved Java/Android, and JavaScript/Python skills.

Apr 2014 - Aug 2017: Front Desk & IT Support; Coxsackie, NY; Holiday Inn, Express; For Front Desk: Checked guests in and out, resolved guest complaints, and managed reservations. For IT Support: General maintenance and repair of domain computers (guest use, and employee workstations), the Property Management System (Opera PMS), and Domain Administration. Implemented a secure employee wireless network.

Nov 2016 - Feb 2017: Sales Associate; Glenmont, NY; Radio Shack; Sales associate. Helped customers find gadgets, and components that they needed, as well as helped some more advanced customers find solutions using hardware.

Extracurricular Experience

Spring 2018: Malware Analysis and Software Engineering; A class taught by Michael Sieffert on analysing malware at an x86 assembly level, and reverse engineering Windows Applications.

August 2015 - May 2019: SUNY Polytechnic Institute NCS Club; Learned how to install and manage enterprise networks and services including OneDrive, Active Directory, and Proxmox. Participated in CNY Hackathons/CSAW, as well as began teaching NCS based peer to peer classes.

May 2015: CBANET Application; Grade 12; 5 Hrs/Week; Total Hours: 5; Developed macOS Application for teachers using Apple's Swift original release which automatically configured internal network settings, and networked home folders. Another application for CBA Students was made but not released, with similar functionality, but without teacher specific changes. Reason for this application is to make the IT department's job much easier, as well as provide support for macOS users.

Sep 2013 - May 2015: Design and Maintain CBA JROTC App; Grades 11,12; Designed, Created, and Maintain CBA JROTC app. The objective of this application is to keep JROTC Cadets informed with current news, as well as show an outline of the brigade chain of command. The application also has an area designated for a photo gallery, and cadet search (to find unit information)

Leadership

Brigade Master Sargeant -- CBA Albany's JROTC Program. Influenced an entire brigade of cadets (400-500) to work towards a common goal, as well as maintained JROTC Computers and mobile devices.
